So recently some of my favorite webcomics are of the entirely digital variety. You know, stuff like the wonderfully bizarre Scary Go Round, or the typical (but still funny) Rob and Elliot. I was recently reading all about how Jeph Jacques does it over at Questionable Content, and it all sounded really familiar. Then I realized it was the same thing that I do on all my comics, minus about 20 steps, and with COLOR. "Shit," I exclaimed, "I could do that." So I did. :)

Another realization dawned as I sketched it out. I've found webcomics, enjoyed webcomics, made my own webcomic, got bored with webcomics after finding other webcomics, got bored with my own webcomic, and stopped reading webcomics altogether... only to start reading them again, six months later. I've not only come full circle with webcomics, but quite possibly entered some sort of third dimension of webcomics. There's only one thing left to do: satirize webcomics. For example, how many of the webcomics you read fall into the description above? For me, probably 6 of my frequently-read list have four out of the five, if not all of them. Which is not to say that I find it cliche. Each one has its own distinct flavor which I enjoy, and several comics I read don't fit these guidelines at all. And I'm finding more each day.

So, as always, I can't promise regular updates, coherence, good drawings, sexy women showing up on your doorstep, etc., but I hope you enjoy it. Oh, also, this comic marks a milestone in that at no point was it a pencil drawing. That's right, this whole thing is the product of my ancient but trusty Wacom PenPartner. I think it turned out rather well. :)
